Due to recent publicity (thank you Oprah dear)it seems that the voice of the once debarked puppy mill dogs is being heard.
I have often wondered -how long, how long? are we going to stand for the atrocities committed on these helpless animals?
Over the last few years my motto has been, ‘Doing nothing is not an option’. It is time, no, it is PASSED TIME that we take a stand against puppy mills. See the video in the link below and give yourself a big hug, for all the puppers that will one day see the light of day……
This post is dedicated to Tracker Jack, and Bubba who died after telling their stories in their own way, of life in the puppy mill.
Now here in rescue over a month PolarBear is much improved!
Remember how thin he was? Polar Bear can EAT!!! The Vet has said that he has a grade three heart murmur. One of his eyes is clouded over with cataracts and the other is a detached retina, most likely from a blow to the head. He has muscle atrophy but that is improving.
Saturday was a brave(or crazy) day for all, when I loaded up TEN Poms to go for vaccinations at our Vet. I had 4 in the front and 6 in the back of our HONDA CIVIC. We need a break in the GAS PRICES!!
God was smiling on us and all went very well :0)
It's all about saving and caring for as many as we can.
We believe education is the key to ending abuse.
