Please enjoy 3.5 minutes of sheer Pomeranian peace and joy! Trouble was surrendered to a TN animal shelter when he no longer was a tiny, cute, little fluff ball that would fit in a purse. We are so blessed to have been able to rescue him. Every day he brings a smile to our faces! The sounds are the actual sounds we were hearing that morning. The wind was blowing and the birds were serenading us. It was utter tranquility-too nice not to share! This video is not cute, exciting or funny, but can’t everyone enjoy 3.5 minutes of Pomeranian peace?

Wonderful news from the Vet on our boys!

On 1/25/2012 at the Vet, Wilbur had his heart and lungs checked out.
I just didn’t like the way he sounded last thing at night before he goes to sleep.
After all these years I can ‘hear’ things that just don’t sound right.
The Vet said his heart sounded good, but wanted to check out the deep sounds in his lungs by taking an xray.
She came back and said there might be an abdominal tumor as there were some odd shapes in his belly.
It was in the area where he does not like to be touched when he is picked up -so I was very concerned.
She gave him barium and re xrayed and his belly was fine. YAHOO! :0)
It was just the way he was all scrunched up during the first xray.
So all he needs is a little Analipril and Lasix and he should be just fine. Just look at this awesome boy!

Then the vet said it was hard to believe that Spanky was the same dog.
His torn cruciate had healed. His little fatty tumor on his belly has gotten smaller.
His heart and lungs were good enough to have a dental.
Getting the nasty little teeth helped out his heart.
He was a little gentleman and no muzzle was needed this time. :0)
During the dental, he had several teeth extractions, and had to wear an Elizabethton collar
for a few days to keep him from scratching at his mouth.

Thanks to everyone that has donated that made their vetting possible!!

We are mourning the loss of our PuttPutt.
He was fine Christmas day, but on Dec 26, the morning was strangely quiet without our usual PuttPutt wake up barking.
We believe he suffered a stroke. I held him as our Vet gently helped him to Heaven.
I can’t believe how bad it still hurts to lose one, even after all these years and all the dogs we still have here.
He was one little special dog. We rescued him in July of 2010 after he was found out wandering, blind, near a busy road.
He would walk around a room at a very slow steady speed, following every turn and corner,
just putt putting along- earning himself the name ‘PuttPutt’. His kitchen corner and bed just seem so empty…
